Sally's Southern Style

About Sally

Welcome to my website! I have been passionate about art my whole life, the most exciting thing to me as a child was a new box of crayons and some blank paper. The first portrait I did was of my second grade teacher at Roselawn Elementary. I won an award that year and felt so special. I wish I could have kept that first one. I studied art in Jr high and high school, Margot Harvey was an awesome art teacher. She was an inspirational artist, teacher and mentor. Inspired by many artistic members of my family, I was encouraged to use my creativity!

I have enjoyed making crafts and stenciling and painting things for my family and friends. I have made items from Christmas cards to painting baby's rooms, Using old frig boxes I painted the statue of Liberty, Charlie Browns pumpkin patch. Mickey Mouse club house etc etc.

I was not sure what to do next - but I had faith that I would figure something out since moving around the country with my husband seeing many different artistic ideas. We have been in Ocala Fl for the last 5 1/2 years and there are not many jobs around. So I felt it was time to start my own business. My daughter and son n law are helping to make this happen.

I absolutely love painting murals and being creative. I am grateful and appreciative of everyone who has supported my art talent for the past 57 years. Transforming rooms, creating spaces for homes is very fulfilling. My artistic energy gives me a chance to soar! I am inspired by my appreciation for nature, gardening, historic architecture, & other artists work and my life experiences.
